What happens in the event of a breakdown?

All the vehicles are covered by Drivy’s roadside assistance service. In the event of a breakdown, you must contact the 24/7 roadside assistance service and inform the owner as soon as possible.

You do not have to organise the breakdown service for the vehicle yourself, or your travel home. The roadside assistance service will organise and take responsibility for:

  • Repair at the roadside or towing of the vehicle to the nearest garage.

  • Transport home or onward travel.

A £90 management fee will apply. This fee must be paid by the owner if the vehicle was used correctly before it broke down. If the breakdown was caused by misuse of the vehicle during the rental, the driver will be charged £200 management fee.
